Join Weber State University's GETUP (Geoscience Education Targeting Underrepresented Populations) program for their Great Salt Lake research Symposium on Friday, August 5 at 5pm.
This summer, GETUP students have been focussing on the effects of drought on the microbial mat with a focus on how bleaching affects mats and the possibility of mat recolonization when reintroduced to water.
The Symposium will take place in Tracy Hall room 102 on Weber State University's Ogden Campus, and light refreshments will be served.
