The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to gather information necessary to prepare a comprehensive conservation plan (CCP) for Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge and Bear River Watershed Conservation Area which will help define the desired future conditions of the Refuge and provide long-range guidance and management direction.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is hosting an open house meeting for the public to attend and submit comments on habitat management improvements and public use opportunities. This meeting will also be an opportunity to comment on the draft vision. The meeting is comprised of a short presentation followed by open house style stations where attendees can learn more and provide comments.
- 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, September 27 at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, 2155 W Forest St, Brigham City, UT 84302
If you are unable to attend, there will be an opportunity to provide written comments in the near future. This, and any other opportunities to provide your comments and input on the CCP process will be announced accordingly.
Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is eager to work with the public for informed comprehensive conservation planning, and looks forward to hearing from you!
