Join Gillmor Sanctuary staff for a special opportunity to visit National Audubon Society’s Gillmor Sanctuary, a 3,597-acre protected property that is typically closed to the public to protect important bird habitat. Located along the southern shoreline of Great Salt Lake, Gillmor Sanctuary provides vital nesting and migratory habitat for vast numbers of shorebirds, waterfowl, and other migratory birds.
Participants will help with hands-on habitat stewardship projects, have the opportunity to go birding with sanctuary staff, and experience a property that visitors typically do not have the chance to explore. It’s a unique opportunity to contribute directly to habitat conservation while seeing some of the birds and landscapes that make Gillmor so important!
Sign up for one or more volunteer days. It’s free!
