We partner with the Natural History Museum of Utah and University of Utah Youth Education to offer two adventurous summer camps based on the ecology of Great Salt Lake!
Salty Science (Ages 9-11) with U of U Youth Education
June 16 – 19 | 9:00am – 3:00pm
Stay salty this summer in this field-based science camp! Each day we’ll explore the watershed on an outdoor field trip:
- Hiking at Antelope Island
- Birding in Farmington Bay
- Swimming in Great Salt Lake
- And more!
Along the way, we’ll practice science and art to learn about wildlife, water quality, geology, & environmental stewardship.
Great Salt Lake Investigations (6th-8th Grade) with NHMU
June 22 – 25 | 8:30am – 4:30pm
Join us for an adventurous week exploring Great Salt Lake’s unique ecosystem! From birding in Farmington Bay to swimming with brine shrimp at Antelope Island, each day we will go on an outdoor field trip. Along the way, we will practice science and art to learn about wildlife, water quality, geology, and environmental stewardship. We are scientists, activists, and love being outside.
Drop off and pick up takes place at NHMU. Transportation to and from field trip locations is provided. No camp on Friday.
