Mark McCune is Director Structures Design for Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha, Nebraska. He oversees all aspects of bridge design, including hydrology and hydraulic analyses, permitting, structural design, and preparation of construction drawings, for approximately 250 structures per year. He has worked in the Engineering Department of Union Pacific since 1979.

Mr. McCune graduated summa cum laude from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He is a registered professional civil engineer in Nebraska
